So I made the best birthday cake again, this time for Noel’s Mom’s birthday, and this time as a layer cake. I normally don’t repeat recipes this close together, but she went a little ga-ga when he was describing the icing to her over the phone, so we decided this should be the cake. And the end result was just so lovely–and Noel claims tastier–I had to share it with you.
