I really like that shot of the street lights – very atmospheric.
I love the first pic with the glass. How cool.
I used to live on the corner of East Baltimore and Belnord and that street looks suspiciously like Fairmount…just before Linwood.
I love the hazy pics, lots of feeling! And, I love a lime rimmed glass of anything! Here’s some pics for proof! (Me rimming the glasses last summer in B’more with Kristin) http://lovefeasttable.com/blog/goodbye-party-love-feast-style/ Great Wordless Wednesday!! (Bummed I didn’t get to hang out at the buffet table….that was from the blogger event right?) Maybe sometime in the future! ~ Chris Ann (MN LoveFeast)
Looks like it was a great holiday weekend.
Is that glass really balanced on its edge like that?
I also like the foggy street scene :)
@Tracy–you have sharp eyes to recognize the street in the fog! You’re right on, the red traffic light is the light at the corner of Linwood and Fairmount.
@Chris Ann–the buffet table is actually from a little Urban Family Thanksgiving party I had at my house this past Saturday. Why not have a Thanksgiving for your friends too? I’m hoping one day it will be the buffet table for a blogger event though!
@CatSynth–the glass has a rounded bottom that makes it tilt like that (so we didn’t really get it to balance!) It was tricky to keep the tequila from spilling as the night went on!
The tilted glass is so cool!
Now that’s a holiday!! And I like that glass — very cool shot.
Beth, it was the metal grates in the street that gave it away…
Tracy–I’ve lived just around the corner from those grates for over 4 years now, and I didn’t spot them as the distinguishing feature. It’s amazing what you can overlook in the everyday.
