Karine–they are calling for another 12-18 inches of snow tomorrow (Tuesday) into Wednesday. I’ve never seen snow like this in Baltimore–we’re just not prepared for it! Luckily, we didn’t lose power. Noel’s cousin in Vermont has the same complaint about a weird winter–they haven’t had much snow at all!

Oh wowowow!!! Are you expecting more snow this week too? My aunt who lives in Virginia just wrote on facebook they are (again) expecting snow this week. And she lost power last weekend. But not her son (he also lives in VA).

This winter has been very weird. In Toronto, we have not had a snow storm yet. I would say we just had just some flurries once a while.

Actually your pics remind me of my usual Canadian winters. Especially the ones I had growing up and when I lived in Quebec City.

Wendi–We’re digging our street out. Got a bunch of neighbors, a bunch of trash cans and one pickup truck. We’re dumping truckloads of snow into the park. I know I’m not going to be able to feel my arms tomorrow!

Beth, here in SW, I don’t know when we’re going to see a plow. Our streets are a hot freaking mess. Some folks with 4WD are getting out but my Mazda won’t make it anytime soon. We heard one truck spend two hours this morning spinning wheels trying to get out.

And now they’re calling for MORE SNOW tomorrow.

Libby–we luckily did not lose power but we’re still buried, no sign of plows. The park is Patterson Park, and Noel and I actually got married where all of those people are standing in the last picture! It’s really a great place, and from in front of the Pagoda you can see all the way out to the key bridge. It’s one of my favorite spots in the whole city.

Whew–my folks lost power, but luckily have a nice wood stove to keep warm and cook on. It looks like you have a neat park near your house–is that where the snowman is?

You survived! It’s just cold here and the snow is dirty and gross.

Glad you were able to make the best of it though – no better way to spend the day than in the kitchen! :D
