I have to give credit where it’s due here–I didn’t take these pictures–Noel did. But I did call him and tell him to get his self out there to take some pictures! Why? Because the combination of high winds, high tide, and heavy rain had created a super tide in Fells Point, with some localized flooding, which I thought would make for fantastic pictures. And it did.
Great series of photos, especially that first one with the birds.
It looks like a great place to go for a walk. Though now I do see flooding in that last photo.
Melinda-I think the last reallybig flood in fells was in the fall of 2003 during hurricane isabel. Allot Thames and some of broadway and all of the businesses were under water. Nothing compared to this! But I guess people have been living here for almost 350 years, so you just get used to the flooding.

oh, the water is rather high in that last one. Well the first too since the dock is underwater.
the sky is just fantastic in the first two!
I love that first photo…just wow!

Wow, I remember when the JDRF walk got flooded out downtown a few years back (2003?).

Biz–thanks for adding me! :-)
Awesome sky and water shots. Good job.
beautiful shots! Happy WW!
It looks like an interesting place to visit, but sitting on those benches by the edge of water will make me nervous.
The sky in the top image, wow.
