I took this picture up at Loveland Pass (the pass over the continental divide) on Sunday June 13. Yes that’s fresh snow, and there were skiers out to catch the last powder of the season.
Wow, that looks beautiful, but…cold! :)
I think I’m one of those contrary people who prefers sweltering heat to snow.
In any case, I hope you are enjoying your time in Colorado! It sounds like a great experience.
Catsynth–I’m with Beth and Catie–I LOVE SNOW! So it was quite a treat for me to see it in June. Being up in the mountains made me want to learn to ski! I’m going back the first chance I get!

I have seen that June snow in Colorado — but now I’m in sweltering central PA heat… Rather have the late snow, I think.
It was lovely and cool our whole time in the mountains. I loved that June snow!
It’s not sweltering right now in Charm City, but I know it’s coming…
Breathtaking.
lovely photo…beautiful sky, beautiful snow.
And I am with BethF. I’ll take the snow over the sweltering heat any day.
