Monhegan Island Part 2: The Wilds
In case you missed it–here’s part 1.
If you remember from last week, we took a look at the Monhegan Village. This week’s photos are from the wilds, which take up most of the island. Breathtaking.

Wow, the island is gorgeous. What’s the green thing in the tree? I can’t tell…
Jen-It’s an old beat up lobster buoy. They do a special kind of hard shell only lobstering out on Monhegan, and this was the old evidence of it I found away from town.
Stunning Beth. Looks like a grand trip.
I love that first one with the mist and the rocks!
Monhegan Island ..I MUST get there someday..lovely
I can’t wait until we get up to Maine (later this fall). Beautiful shots.
so extraordinarily beautiful – loved these!
Beautiful scenes. I particularly like the first two photos with the rocks, but I also like the green float embedded in the tree.
What a scenic place!
I can’t believe you’ll be gone the day I’m in Baltimore…. I’ll be at the National Book Festival on Saturday in DC. Email me if you’ll be there.
Awesome pics, and it kind of makes me think of a Stephen King novel.
Stunning pictures as usual B!
