Monhegan Island Part 2: The Wilds

In case you missed it–here’s part 1.

If you remember from last week, we took a look at the Monhegan Village. This week’s photos are from the wilds, which take up most of the island. Breathtaking.

Wow, the island is gorgeous. What’s the green thing in the tree? I can’t tell…

Jen-It’s an old beat up lobster buoy. They do a special kind of hard shell only lobstering out on Monhegan, and this was the old evidence of it I found away from town.

Beautiful scenes. I particularly like the first two photos with the rocks, but I also like the green float embedded in the tree.
