Inaugural Huff, Puff and Race for Pumpkin Pie Edition!

turkey leg plaques!

getting ready

ready to race!

One thing I left out of my holiday weekend recap–Noel and I did our second 5k together, Seashore Striders Inaugural Huff, Puff and Race for Pumpkin Pie! It was a cold but lovely race on a course through Rehoboth Beach–totally flat, with an amazing view of the ocean halfway through! I held back a bit during the race since I was concerned about my bum hip but Noel finished with a shiny new personal record (PR)! I’ve decided I WILL PR ON THIS COURSE one day–hopefully in 2011!

And since we didn’t have a support crew to hold our camera, all of these pictures are compliments of Seashore Striders!

You look like you had such a blast!!! Is that a paddle that looks like a Turkey leg?

What a fun looking race! And I got nowhere close to my PR at the Turkey Trot either! Here’s to 2011!!!

What a blast! Gosh, I just love the trees..so pretty. I don’t see that in Vegas.

Kristen–You need to come run a race out east!

Great pics. As for your comment on my blog, that is precisely the way I think the word diet should be used. That is all it ever should have meant…the foods you consume, anything you eat is your diet, could be vegetarian, renal, diary free, those are great words to describe what a diet should be.
