Beth May 4, 2011 at 10:59 am: Jen–the gardens were gorgeous, with all of the spring flowers and new leafs. And they were HUGE! They’re proably five times what you see in the second picture.
Beth May 4, 2011 at 11:00 am: Catie–the ceilings were probably the best part of the inside of Versailles. There isn’t much furniture at the Chateau, since most of it was sold or destroyed during the French Revolution. But those ceilings survived, and they’re amazing!

That room is rather…ornate. I do like the gardens – and it looks like it was a beautiful day when you visited.

Hope we have a beautiful day tomorrow night to walk around Frederick! What should we eat? Barbeque or Vegetarian??
Melinda May 5, 2011 at 4:29 pm: Recognized Versailles right away! We loved it there! The pictures looked so fake. My mom actually had to ask me if that was a real place because we looked photoshopped in.
