Hottest Race Ever Edition
30:15 5k time. Seriously, it was 85 degrees at the start, on the way up to 104 for the day. I’m just happy I survived! But this was our 5th Championship Series 5k, so Noel and I are officially qualifiers!!

Wow, that is quite hot for a 5k run!
It got pretty hot last week when I was in the desert (similar range), but no running involved.
This past weekend was crazy hot! I did zero running in it! Glad you finished and didn’t die!
I actually ran a total of 15 miles this past weekend–a total of 6 on Saturday (yes, I ran more than just the 5k) and 9 on Sunday. Although on Sunday, I will admit I ran on the treadmill. I couldn’t handle a heat index of 90 at 6.30am!!
Woweeee!! Lots of miles and yes it is brutal in the heat. So glad we are running goddesses lately!!
Wow, that is hot! I know you were having a heat wave there. Hope you didn’t lose power in the storms. My moms was out for over a week. Crazy, and she had no AC. I hope you had it better.
