See Beth Run

In August 2010 I decided that I was ready to do something big–namely train for my first half marathon! For someone who was a mostly non-runner, this was a big deal!

In January 2011, I finished my first half marathon–the 2011 Walt Disney World Half–with flying colors! Now I’ve got the racing bug badly, and I’m running through 2011. Follow along here as I continue my running journey!

Hey! I took this picture! :) I love your title: See Beth Run! Like See Spot Run!!! So cute! I’m glad also that you have convinced Carlos to join you in the 10k. Hopefully he’ll be ready for it, and not hold you back! :)

Thanks Eileen!

We just need to make sure Carlos runs more before the 10k! He needs to run 3X a week to really get in good 10k shape!

My wife and I love this website. Great Job Beth! Keep up the good work with the running. Have you ever ran a 5k or 15k mud run. I signed up for Rebel Race in June. I can’t wait to do the obstacle course. It looks like so much fun. Treat yourself to some fun. take a look at their website at rebelrace.com

Joe–I’ve seen these mud races before and they do look like fun if you don’t mind getting dirty. Unfortunately, I’m not a mud lover–I don’t mind sweat, but mud not so much–so I’ll hold off on one of these for now!

You picked an amazing 1/2 to start with. My sister wants me to do the Hawaii full marathon in December. Not sure yet whether I can commit.
